| Abstract: | This paper has studied the strata of the Baitushan Formation distributed in the eastern area of the Songliao Divide. According to (1) its distribution, sedimentary characters, geomorphic place, (2) the evolution of the Songliao Divide in the Quaternary Period and (3) the evolution of the Songliao drainage system, we think the genesis of the strata is alluvial sediments, though it used to be regarded as glairo--fluvial sediments, its sedimentary age is the early time of the early Pleistocene (Q1 ), though it used to be regarded as whole Q1. |
