Abstract:The bed conditions for suspended sediment transport under non-equilibrum conditions are discussed herein this paper. Based on some experimental data and numerical results computed from different bed conditions, it is reasoned that the Dirichlet condition is correct for the process of erosion while the Neumann condition holds for deposition. For numerical medeling with complex flow problems a combination of both is suggested and preliminary calculations are given.
