| 摘 要： | GML是由OGC推出的基于XML的地理信息传输、存储编码工具，目前已成为构建开放地理数据互操作平台的基础。通过研究GML的地理要素几何特征编码方法及数据交换模型，归纳了GML在地理空间数据交换过程中的六项优点。研究表明，利用GML可以大大提高空间信息交换的质量和效率。

| Abstract: | GML is a geographic information transfers and storage coding tool based on XML which is introduced by OGC. At present, GML has been the basis of building open geographic data inter-operation platform. Studied on the method of GML's coding of geographic feature and the data exchange model, this paper sums up six advantages of GML in the process of exchanging geo-spatial data. It proves that applying GML can greatly improve the quality and efficiency of spatial data exchange. |
