| Abstract: | The montmorillonites are a kind of adsorbent material with excellent properties. The montmorillonites modified by the organic groups exhibit good performance for the adsorption of organic compounds in wastewater. The advances in applications on organic wastewater treatment by using the organobentonite were summarized. The development and potential applications of organobentonite were prospected. |
