| 摘 要： | 本文记述了河北泥河湾盆地的一个新的地层单位——稻地组。在四个实测剖面上对稻地组进行了分层描述,根据其岩性、化石特征、及其与上下地层接触关系,确定了该地层组的含义,并对其时代(晚上新世)作了讨论。

| Abstract: | Based on numerous fossil mammals from the upper part of "Ni-hewan bed" it has long been taken as the section representing the lower Pleistocene in Northern China. It has been pointed out (Tang et al. 1983 ) that Dongyaozitou fauna from lower part of "Nihewan bed" is a Pliocene-Pleisto^ cene mammalian fauna.About 30 fossil mammals were discovered,which represented approximate contemporaneity. Compared with North China and Europe faunas by Mimomys orientalis, it can be believed that the age of stratum is equi-valent to Early Youhean ( Chinese land mammal age ) or Early Villafranchian stage of Europe ( late Pliocene) .In accordance with lithostratigraphic and pa-laeontologic data, a new stratigraphic unit is here separated from "Nihewan bed" , which is named Daodi formation. |
