Abstract:In this paper following methods are proposed: 1. The calculation of light energy concentration should be based on the diffraction integral. 2. For calculating the diffraction integral., it is not necessary to know the fine wavefront, if the high frequency error is small enough. The 10-30cm sub-aperture can be taken for the Hartmann test, if the wave aberration is negligible within such a sub-aperture. 3. A very simple method is suggested to find whether the wave aberration can be negligible or not. The method is to observe the star's image. If it looks like the theorical diffraction image the wave aberration is negligible within this sub-aperture. 4. When the 10-30cm sub-aperture is used, the Shack-Hartmann test apparatus is necessary.But before test the star's inage should be observed.
