摘    要:Cudappah盆地是位于印度南部的一个元古代盆地,盆地中含有许多矿床,包括菱镁矿和滑石矿。该盆地发育于Chat活动带东部边缘,并发育沙质、粘土质和碳酸盐岩的多期重复沉积旋回。盆地可划分为四个次级盆地,即Papaghni、Nallamalai、Srisailam和Kurnool次级盆地。晶质菱镁矿床赋存于Papashni次级盆地的Vempalli组地层中。每个次级盆地很可能都沿着一系列裂谷中的断块发育,并且这些裂谷形成于中元古代的热事件。每个沉积旋回中发育有相似的沉积岩套表明,在盆地演化过程中具有相同的构造和气候环境。根据盆地中矿床(重晶石矿、菱镁矿和滑石矿)的产出,我们对每个次级盆地均提出了一个多期重复沉积旋回的演化模式,该旋回包括了从角砾岩到白云岩的变化。

Abstract:Cudappah basin, one of the Proterozoic basins in South India, hosts a number of mineral deposits including magnesiteand talc. This sedimentary basin, with repeated cycles of arenaceous, argillaceous and carbonate rocks was developed in the margin of the Eastern Ghat mobile belt. This basin can be divided into four sub-basins, namely, the Papaghni, Nallamalai, Srisailam and Kurnool sub-basins. Crystalline magnesite deposits occur within the Vempalli Formation in the Papaghni sub-basin. It is probable that each sub-basin was evolved along the faulted blocks in a series of rifts formed by thermal activity witnessed during the middle Proterozoic. Similarity of sedimentary suits in each sedimentary cycle indicates identical tectonic and climatic conditions during the evolution of the basins. Based on the occurrence of mineral deposits like barite, magnesite and talc, an evolutionary model is proposed for the repeated cycles of sediment, ranging from conglomerate to dolomite, in each sub basin.
