| Abstract: | Potential field data at gridpoints of a window can be expanded at calculation points by Taylor series expansion formula. Then, the data at a gridpoint will be subtracted from that at a corresponding point. A horizontal derivative operator for gridpoints in the window can be calculated by the least square method. This operator is convoluted with the observed potential field data to obtain the horizontal derivative of the potential field. |
