| Abstract: | This article makes a brief introduction of virtual-machine technologies and their advantages.Using the existing public virtual-machine environment service platform of the Shanghai municipal government＇s public network,it is possible to launch the Shanghai GIS service on a public virtual-machine platform,thus providing fundamental geographic information service functions for intragovernmental use. |
