| Abstract: | Using reasonable assumptions, we derive the distribution function of pulsar space velocities from the distribution of pulsar heights above the Galactic plane. We find that for 137 pulsars of the north Galactic hemisphere, the space velocity distribution is discrete, and forms two separate groups.
