| Abstract: | In this paper, the relationship between the digital earth and electronic chart is analyzed at first, and the application of electronic chart is discussed based on the conception of digital earth. The international standards are method of data composition for electronic chart are also introduced in brief. It describes in detail the mode of some methods applied in electronic chart, such as the seamless joint of worldwide charts, infinitely variable zooming, common interface of software, querying and retrieving for geo-objects. |
