腾冲火山地热区的微震观测

摘    要:腾冲火山地热区的水热活动显示强烈,小震微震活动频繁。作者于1980.12.3-1981.1.9和1982.3.10-1982.4.10期间曾经对腾冲及其邻区的地震活动进行了现场观测,这是我国首次在地热区进行的微震观测。观测结果表明,腾冲地区的微震活动大多发生在水热活动显示最强烈的热海地热田的四周,震级较小,并以震群的形式释放能量;以腾冲县城为中心的地表以下可能存在一层厚仅7km左右的薄壳,厚度向四周逐渐增加,形若伞状,具备存在某些储热构造或岩浆囊的条件;小震综合断层面解所反应的应力场方向与大震的一致,也大体上呈南北向;设在热海地热田中的黄瓜箐地震台记录到直接与地下水热活动有关的微震活动。

Abstract:In the Tengchong volcano-geothermal region, there are strong surface expressions of hydro-thermal activities and frequent microseismicity. From Dec. 3, 1980 to Jan. 9, 1981 and from Mar. 10, 1982 to Apr. 10, 1982, the authors carried out two successive field microseismic observations in Tengchong and its adjacent areas. This is the first such observation carried out in China.The observations show that microearthquakes mostly occur around the Hot Sea area where the hydrothermal manifestation is the strongest; the magnitudes of the earth tremors are small and the energy release takes mainly the form of swarms. A thin crustal layer of only about 7 km thick exists right below the surface of this region with Tengchong town at its center. Away from the center, the thickness of this layer gradually increases in the shape of an umbrella, thas providing conditions fro the formation of geethermal roservoir or a magma cham ber. The stress field derived from the synthesized fault plane solution for small earthquakes shows the same overall S-N direction as that derived from large earthquakes. Microseismici-ties which are directly related to the hydrothermal activities were also recorded by the seismograph mounted at the Cucumber-gully station.
