摘    要:海冰类型是北极海冰监测中的重要变量,详细的海冰类型信息对冰情评估、气候预测和冬季海上交通管理等具有重要意义。CryoSat-2卫星携带先进的合成孔径雷达高度计,具有观测尺度大、能够全天时全天候观测的优势,是研究两极海冰变化的一种方法。本文使用CryoSat-2卫星SAR模式下波形数据识别北极海冰类型,采用阈值法、K-NN分类器和RF分类器3种分类方法,分别与脉冲峰值(PP)、回波功率最大值(MAX)、前缘宽度(LEW)、后缘宽度(TEW)、栈标准差(SSD)、堆叠峰度(SK)6种波形特征参数组合,并与AARI提供的北极冰况图进行对比分析,从而得到分类器与波形特征参数的最优组合,提高波形分类精度。

Abstract:Sea ice type is an important variable in Arctic sea ice monitoring.Detailed sea ice type information is of great significance to ice regime assessment,climate prediction and winter sea traffic management.CryoSat-2 satellite carries advanced synthetic aperture radar altimeter,which has the advantages of large observation scale and all-weather observation.It is a method to study the change of sea ice at both poles.This paper uses the waveform data of CryoSat-2 satellite SAR mode to identify the Arctic sea ice type.In this paper,threshold method,K-NN classifier and RF classifier are used to combine the six waveform feature parameters,i.e.pulse peak value(PP),maximum echo power(MAX),leading edge width(LEW),trailing edge width(TEW),stack standard deviation(SSD)and stack kurtosis(SK),and to compare them with the Arctic ice map provided by AARI,so as to obtain the optimal group of classifier and waveform feature parameters,which can improve the accuracy of waveform classification.
