| Abstract: | A model of a star consisting of vacuum-like matter is constructed in the framework of general relativity. Its stability and other physical properties are analyzed. This stellar model is compared with cosmological models consisting of the same vacuum-likematter with a pressure equal to the energy density but with the opposite sign. |
