| Abstract: | Marine microorganisms constitute a part of marine organisms and have certain unique characteristics due to living in the sea. Holyphic can not be considered as a criterion for distinguishing marine and continental microorganisms. The paper elucidates several aspects of marine fungi, including living substrates, escotypes and bioactive materials. |
