| Abstract: | Organization of data obtained by facies and formations analyses, in world literature, and systematization of data on positions of contact-metamorphic facies and composition of the exo-contactual rocks lead here to identification of six principal types of the metamorphism (table 1), each of which may be differentiated into as many as three complexes (table 2), depending on physicochemical parameters of the phenomena and composition of the rocks. -- V .P.
