Solid state physics and cooling of neutron stars |

| Abstract: | First we show the possible effect of the ‘magnetic’ condensation on cooling of neutron stars. Its observational significance (especially for younger pulsars such as the Crab pulsar) is emphasized. Other effects of solid state physics on cooling are also discussed. |
