| Abstract: | A new species of sphaeronectid calycophoran siphonophore, Sphaeronectes pughi sp. nov. is described from material collected in the subantarctic zone, south of Australia. An identification key for sphaeronectid nectophores is provided, with illustrations of the eleven recognized species. |
