Abstract:With the aid of CI-301PS portable photosynthesis system, a studyon the photosynthetic response of Cacalia davidii to ecological factors in the subalpine forest system on the east slope of Gongga mountain was made. The result showed that daily variation curve of net photosynthetic rate(Pn) of Cacalia davidii was one single peak, not having distinct depression of Pn. The Pn increased quickly with increasing photosynthetic active radiation(PAR),the light compensation point of photosynthesis(LCP) was about 85μmol photons/m2·s-1 but the light sturation point of photosynthesis(LSP) was not measured. The optimum air temperature(Ta) of photosynthesis was 24℃~28℃.The Pn descended with ascending atmospheric relative humidity(RH) and the value of the Pn was high when the RH was 65%~75%. When CO2 concentration in air(Ca) varied from 250μmol/mol ~360μmol/mol,the Pn increased gradually with it. But the Pn varied quickly when Ca was higher than 360μmol/mol or less than 250μmol/mol. The stomatal conductance (C) of Cacalia davidii varied from 50 m mol/ m2·s-1~420m mol/ m2·s-1 and the Pn increased linearly with the C. The stepwise regression showed that the Pn was related signally to PAR and Ca. Based on the experiments, the equations were Pn=-0.1325(PAR)2+3.777PAR-4.3346,R2 = 0.9306;Pn=-0.0359(Ta)2 + 1.7581Ta-7.7164,R2 = 0.7559;Pn=-0.037(RH)2 + 0.2885RH+4.6693,R2=0.8461;Pn=0.0012(Ca)2 -0.616Ca+ 7.657,R2=0.9074; Pn=23.703C-4.1364,R2=0.6127; Pn=2.4102+0.3708PAR+0.2389Ca,R2=0.6152。
