| 摘 要： | 宗教传播必须依托一定的地域空间来实现.来华基督教新教首传广东,不但与广东远离中原、面向海洋的特殊地理区位,自然交通路径发达和湿热气候等自然环境密切相关;同时,广东独特的文化多样性、繁荣的商贾文化、华侨文化、天主教文化,以及与港澳的近邻关系和发达的城镇经济等社会环境,也为新教在广东的发展提供了良好的生长空间.然而,新教在传播扩散过程中也对广东地域文化的形成产生了深远的影响.这表明,基督教新教与广东地域环境的关系并非仅体现为单向的环境决定论,而是一个双向互动的影响过程. |

| Abstract: | The diffusion of religion must be based on a geographical space. Guangdong became the first destination that Protestant missionaries chose to enter China in 1807. On the one hand, it was related to the unique natural environment in Guangdong: being far from the political centre and facing South Ocean. Protestants could diffuse in Guangdong freely to an extent.
