黄河中游新第三纪晚期红粘土的成因类型

摘    要:地层结构、岩石组合、物质组成特点及化石埋藏状态等资料分析表明,新第三纪晚期红层成因类型多样,但以风积粉尘堆积为主,特殊的形成方式导致了红粘土组成的均一性。地层微结构研究显示红粘土沉积后经历了强烈的土壤化作用。地层所记录的成因信息和古气候信息与第四纪黄土—古土壤的类似,暗喻了二者间的继承性,红粘土成因的初步研究表明我国黄土高原区内的粉尘堆积有可能始于新第三纪中新世晚期。

The Genetic Types of the Late Neogene Red Clay in the Middle Reaches of the Yellow River
Abstract:Abstract The reasonable interpretation of the genesis of the Late Neogene red clay has increasingly attracted a lot of attention due for its importance for the better understanding of such problems as the evolution of the Quaternary palaeoclimate and the origin of the palaeomonsoon,and has been referred to residual,aeolian,hydrogenic and flood plain deposits respectively based on different data.They are the basis for the genetic study of the red clay,and a more systematic analysis is required to expound the genetic styles of the main body of the red clay.Based on the analysis,some new knowledge has been get as follows: 1) the accumulation styles of the Late Neogene red clay in Northern China are quite complex,with various geologic transporting kinetics in different environments.Referring to the genesis,they differ from rapid accumulation of small basins to that of fluviolacustrine deposit of levelling plane.By strict definition,the red clay is chiefly of aeolian powder deposit origin.The homogeneity of stratigraphic structure and material composition in a wide area,the even distribution in different land forms the absence of hydrobios,and the occurrence of large quantity of aeolian powder are all the important evidences of eolian sedimentation of the red clay.The palaeomagnetic examination of the red clay section in Laogaochuan,Fugu
