| Abstract: | Compared with lots of defects of traditional urban system planning, the authors think that traditional urban system planning won't be fit for the new situation. So they advocate introducing the new planning means of regional space--Urban Agglomeration Planning to establish the new mechanism of harmonious development of region. The authors analyze the new backgrounds, explain the necessity of Urban Agglomeration Planning, and expound planning object and principle, confirming planning area and content of Urban Agglomeration Planning, etc. |
