摘    要:本文根据1984-1985年4航次底栖生物调查资料,首次全面地研究了台湾海峡西部海域多毛类的种类组成,数量分布及其与环境因子的关系。结果表明,该海域多毛类404种,习见种191种,区系属亚热带性质;平均生物量4.33g/m^2,平均栖息密度68个/m^2;有沿岸性和外洋性两种明显不同的生态类型,前者位于沿岸水系常年控制海域,种类多,数量较大,后者位于南部粗粒沉积物分布区,种类较少;多毛类高数量区与

Abstract:Based on the polychaete samples collected with quantitative benthicgrab and qualitativetrawl in four cruises in the western of Taiwan Strait in January,May,August and Novemberfrom 1984 to 1985,this paper studies comprehensively,for the first time,species compositionof polychaetes and their distributional characteristics of biomass and biodensity and their re-lationship to the environmental factors.The features of habitate environments for 191species of common polychaetes are specified and summerized.1)The species composition of polychaetes in the western of Taiwan Strait,showing thenature of subtropical fauna,has high diversity as there are 191 common species among the404 recorded species.2)The polychaetes in the western Taiwan Strait has comparativelyhigh quantity,the average biomass reaching 4.33g/m~2 and 68 ind./m~2.3)The polychaetesin the western of Taiwan Strait show two distinctly different ecotypes,neritic and pelagic e-cotypes.The former,with more species and higher biomass and biodensity,is distributed inwaters majorly under the control of coastal currents;the latter,with less species,is situatedin the area deposited with coarser sediment in the southern part of the Strait which is com-paratively far away from shore and under the control,all the year round,of oceanic waters,majorly the strong northeast current flowing to the South China Sea.4) The wholely consis-tency of the fishing grounds with the habitats of high biomass of polychaetes shows the roleof polychaetes in the formation of fishing grounds.As a result,the distribution of polychaetesmay provide an important evidence for identifying specifically the location,area size and scaleof the fishing grounds.
