| Abstract: | The correlation between total ozone content lower thermosphere horizontal wind parameters, and standard indices of solar activity
and geomagnetic activity has been studied. The satellite measurements of TOC for five observatories in Central Europe and
the lower thermosphere wind measurements for Collm observatory (Germany) were used for 1996–2003. The quasi-periodic structure
of these variations and the correlation between the corresponding periodograms were also studied. The quantitative evaluation
of the statistically significant correlations and common periodicities were revealed. |
