| Abstract: | Formation of clay mineral is closely related to the palaeogeographic environment and material source in the eastern Anhui area.This paper analysed and summarized geological conditions for formation of various clay mineral deposits known in the area,then described and classified their palaeogeographic environments and material sources. |
