| Abstract: | The market functions exert an influence on the space-time organization of market systems.Rural markets have three kinds of important functions, i.e.(1) promoting local interchange; (2) advancing inter-regional trade; (3) providing urban goods and services to scattered rural population.These functions are mainly implemented by mobile traders.In this paper, it has been dealt separately with the roles between mobile traders in local interchange,interregional trade and mobile retail systems and their features of the space-time temporal distribution.Finally,the influences of rising of spatial network markets on the movement of mobile traders are analyzed. |
