| Abstract: | In recent ten years, the economic structure in rural China has gradually changed and industry become the main body in rtral economy. Based on detailed field work in seven towns of six provinces, this article focuses on the mechanism of rural development, the role the rural industry played in rural modemization, the regional differences in rural industrialization level and industrial structure, as well as mutual relationship between rural industrial development and population migration,and rural urbanization. |
