| Abstract: | An earthquake occurred in Lian-Tang, Qingpu County on Feb. 17, 1991 and was the greatest earthquake on land in Shanghai area since 1949. Its magnitude was 3.0, which was not high. Its waves spread extensively but the damage was slight, so it was one of the normal seismic activities. |
