| Abstract: | This paper introduces the brief history of the surveying and apping of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). This is the period that the society of China was failing low from the later time of feudal age into the semicolony and semi-feudal age, also that the system of surveying and mapping of China was developing progressively from ancient tradition to modern times. It's the important turning stage in the Chinese surveying and mapping history. |
