| Abstract: | The place where the beach rock of Shangdong Peninsula is located is the northern limit of beach rock distribution in China known up to now. In this paper, the authors emphatically described the distribution and sedimentary characteristics of the beach rock fornd in the coastal area of Shandong Peninsula,and discussed the lithogenesis and the date of formation of the beach rock in the study area. |
