| 摘 要： | 国际地质大会是历史最悠久，规模最盛大的国际学术会议之一。第三十届地质大会的学术活动方案将突出地球科学前沿，突出当前研究热点，突出中国地质特色。大会将，总结本世纪以来地球科学的主要成果，特别是地球科学发展对社会经济和人类文明的重大推动作用，对下世纪地学发展作出展望；大会还将结合中国地质构造特征，重点讨论大陆地质及其有关的地质构造、能源和矿产资源、环境保护、地质减灾及其它们与人类生存和发展的关系。大会学术活动将按主题学术报告、专题讨论会、学科讨论会、展示学术讨论会、专题研究斑和短期讲座等形式进行组织。

| Abstract: | The scientific program of the 30th International GeologicaI Congress,which isto be held in Beijing in l996,will focus on new frontiers in the geosciences,focus on morepopular items of various fields of geosciences,and particaularlly emphasize the special fea-ture of Chinese geology,The main achievements of the geosciences,especially their contri-bution to social development and human civilization in the 20th century,will also be sur-veyed,and the prospects of the geosciences in the 2lst century will be discussed.The 30thIGC will also devote time to continental geology(with the tectonic characteristics ofChina).mineral and energy resources,protection of the environment,mitigation of geo-Iogical hazards,and the relatioriship of these to human survival and social development.Colloquia,special muItidisciplinary symposia,sessions on specific issues,poster sessions,workshops and short training Courses will figure in the program of the Congress. |
