摘    要:在研究华北石炭纪地层的文献中,组(Formation)的应用十分广泛,但涵义却因不同作者而异,造成了岩石、年代地层单位的混淆。山西是华北石炭纪地层的典型地区,本文在厘定华北石炭纪岩石、年代、生物地层涵义之后,将山西石炭纪岩石地层单位自下而上划分为湖田组、太原组和山西组;将年代地层单位划分为中石炭世 Bashkirian-Moscovian 阶和晚石炭世Kasimovian-Gzhelian,Asselian,Sakmarian 阶;将生物地层单位由老至新划分为 Fusulina-Fusulinella,Triticites,pseudosch-Wagerina(s.l.)(竹蜓)带及若干亚带,并将山西石炭纪三种地层单位进行了对比。

Abstract:At present, in many articles on the Carboniferous strata, the upper boundary of which in this paper is drawn at the top of the Sakmarian stage and the base of the Artinskian stage of North China stratigraphic region (Leven, Scherbovich; 1978) the meaning of the widely used formation often varies with authors, leading to the confusion between the lithostratigraphical and chronostratigraphical units during the Carboniferous period in North China.In this paper in the first place the meaning of the Carboniferous lithostratigraphical, chronostratigraphical and biostratigraphical units in North China are collated and stipulated based on the principle of "Introduction and Summary of an International Guide to Stratigraphic Classification, Terminology and Usage" (ISSC, Report 7, 1972). In the second place the lithostratigraphical units during Carboniferous in North China may be divided into the Hu-tian Formation, Taiyuan Formation and the Shanxi Formation from the bottom to the top. The above-mentioned formations are widely distributed in Shanxi. The Chronostratigraphical units during Carboniferous in North China may be divided into the Bashkirian-Moscovian global stages belonging to the Middle Carboniferous period and the Kasimovian-Gzhelian, Asseli-an, Sakmarian global stages belonging to the Late Carboniferous period. The biostratigraphical units during the Carboniferous period in North China can be comprehensively divided into five Fusulinid Zones from the older to the youngerones in age as follows: (Ⅰ) Ozawainella aurora Zone; (Ⅱ) Eostaffella subsolana Zone; (Ⅲ) Fusulina-Fusulinella Zone; (Ⅳ) Triticites Zone and (Ⅴ) Pseudoschwagerina (s. l.) Zone. In Shanxi it is possible that the Ozaeainella aurora Zone and the Eostaffella subsolana Zone are lacking of sedimentation. The Fusulina-Fusulinella Zone, Triticites Zone and Pseudoschwagerina (s. l.) Zone have only been established at present, which can be further subdivided into several subzones and Zonules in the different areas of Shanxi.The division and correlation table (Table 1) of the three types of stratomere during the Carboniferous period in Shanxi is given in the text.
