Abstract: | Size distributions of wind- and water-deposited sands apparently follow the hyperbolic distribution. First partial derivatives for parameters of that distribution, and the distribution function, are programmed as FORTRAN subroutines compatible with a previously published generalized FORTRAN main program for nonlinear estimation using regression methods. Integrated program elements thus yield least-squares estimates of distribution parameters. |
