| Abstract: | This paper reviews the State -of-the-Art and important achivements in geothermalstudies in our country during the recent years, including: terrestrial heat flow, thermalregime of the lithosphere, thermal structure of the crust and upper mantle, climate changeinferred from geothermal data, geothermics and environments or hazards, geothermal studiesin mining areas and oil -gas fields as well as geothermal resources. In viewing the trend offurther development of solid earth sciences and the demand of national economy, this papersuggests the way which both theoretical and pracital geothermics in our country should be takenin the future. |
