摘    要:树冠面积调查是城市绿化调查中的一个主要内容。随着遥感技术的发展,如何利用高分辨率遥感图像快速、准确地提取树冠面积信息已成为城市绿化遥感研究的问题。该文提出一种基于射线法的半自动树冠面积提取算法,通过设定树冠中心点位置,引出若干条光谱射线,进行高次曲线拟合,求其拐点作为树冠边界点,从而得到树冠的面积信息。实验表明,对于重叠较少的树冠面积提取精度为87.82%,重叠较多的树冠面积提取精度为84.91%。

Abstract:Tree-crown projected area has been an important part for green cover rate in urban green investigation.Current field-based assessment methodology can obtain tree-crown projected area,but it is costly,subjective time-consuming and low update cycle.Remote sensing technique provides a potentially low-cost alternative to field-based assessment,which depends on more accurate methods to easily and accurately extract the interested information.In this paper,A semi-automated individual tree crown detection algorithm is developed which has two main steps: firstly,several spectral characteristic transect samples are fitted by high-order curve approximation method;secondly,inflection point of each curve is found to link to tree contour.Additional definition of inflection point to smooth crown contour is added to the algorithm by comparing the distance between inflection point and mean radius.If the distance is larger than a user-defined threshold(like 4/3 mean radius),the point would move to mean radius.Two different tree areas are selected to detect crown polygon,one is street tree area where few of tree crowns are overlain,its detection precision is 87.82%;the other is public green area where more tree crowns are overlain,its detection precision is a bit lower than the former,which is 84.91%.
