| Abstract: | Geophysical exploration and analytical methods are used to detect surface collapse in the Western Hills of Beijing. By doing so we have identified the development of the disaster, thereby providing a scientific basis for solving problems such land use and control of environmental hazards in the area. Also, it is pointed out that scientific and rational mining is an important guarantee in preventing surface collapse caused by improper mining techniques or unscientific engineering arrangement. |
