试论西藏地震带及地震烈度的区域划分

摘    要:西藏活动构造的活动与地震十分强烈和明显。活动构造类型主要有西藏活动构造系、喜马拉雅边界翘起带和冈底斯断块翘起带。地震活动主要受西藏活动构造带控制,其次受喜马拉雅边界翘起带和冈底斯断块翘起带所制约。目前划分的地震带有13条,基本与活动构造带中的断陷带、边界翘起带和断块翘起带的头部一致。地震烈度分布的最基本单元主要为活动构造带中的断陷带,其次是喜马拉雅边界翘起带和冈底斯断块翘起带的头部。区划的结果最高烈度为11度区,最低烈度为6度区。

Abstract:There are a large variety of active structure types in Xizang (Tibet), mainly including active tectonic belts, the tilted Himalayan boundary zone and the tilted Gangdise fault block. Seismic activities in Xizang (Tibet) are controlled dominantly by active tectonic belts, to a small extent by the tilted Himalayan boundary zone and the tilted Gangdise fault block. Epicenters are mainly distributed near and the boundary faults in downfaulted zones and the frontal parts of tilted boundary zone and tilted fault block.of the 13 seismic belts so far delineated, 9 are related to active tectonic belts that are essentially consistent with the downfaulted zones in the active tectonic belts. The Himalayan and Gangdise seismic belts are basically associated with the frontal parts of the tilted boundary zone and fault block. There are also two inferred seismic belts, i. e. the Lhari-Zayu and Sogxian-Dengen seismic belts. The basic units reflecting the intensity distribution of earth quakes in Xizang (Tibet) are chiefly downfaulted zones in the active tectonic belts, and subordinately the frontal parts of the tilted Himalayan boundary zone and the tilted Gangdise fault block. The division ot seismic intensity has resulted in the strongest seismic area of magnitude (?) and the weakest area of magnitude 6. Study results show that the earthquakes related to active structures might have been formed by relative movements ot different crustal layers, and those related with tilted boundary zone and tilted fault block by the southward tilting along the main Siwalik boundary fault belt and the Yarlung Zangbo deep-seated fault
