Abstract:An analysis is made of the spectrum of altitudinal zonality of mountain permafrost landscapes of Yakutia. The intervals of the values of characteristics of particular landscape altitudinal zones are provided, namely, the marks of their boundaries in accordance with a change in the latitude of the locality, the indices of freezing and thawing, mean yearly air temperatures, the pattern of occurrence, the thickness and temperature of permafrost, the thickness of the active layer as well as the accompanying permafrost-geological processes and phenomena.
