| Abstract: | Drill cores of metasomatic rocks and ores from the Lermontovo skarn scheelite-sulfide deposit (Lermontovo ore field, Primorsky krai) have been studied. Feldspar-apatite-scheelite-sulfide metasomatic rocks containing more than 10% WO3 have been identified and characterized. The relationships of these altered rocks to skarn, greisen, and sulfide ore are shown and the implications of these rocks for the formation of ore are determined. In addition, some genetic problems of the deposit are discussed. |
