| Abstract: | Some test problems are presented designed for qualitative evaluation of the accuracy of the numerical solution for the transport
equation. The tests are conducted for three types of difference schemes. The accuracy of numerical solutions for specific
evolution cases is evaluated and recommendations are given on the application of the schemes.
