| Abstract: | We benefit from GIS in collecting, editing, modify ing and analysing data. It can analyze, confirms quantifies the space relations to mineralization and integrates these relations into a prospecting map. It can help us to refresh data, make the variation of analysis and modify the pattern of map during the process of making a prospecting map. Based on the analysis of its characteristics, the application and principle in the mineral resources map-making process in the Yilgarn Block gold mine are detailed. |
