| 摘 要： | It is beyond expectation that several fruiting heads and other parts of the plants of Compositae, preserved mainly in fossil impressions, are also recognized in the Middle Jurassic flora collected from Yanliao region(Lat. 40°58′N, Long. 120°21′E)of North China. Fruiting heads small, subspheroidal, generally about 10mm or less in diametre, each enclosed by an involucre consisting of several layers of bracts.
