| Abstract: | Some Early Carboniferous rugose coral are found in Hongliuyuan section in Beishan area.They are 12 genera and 17 species of solitary coral,and 5 genera and 7 species of compound coral.They are can be divided into two biological assemblages,upwardely,Yuanophyllum-Gangamophyllum and Siphonodendron-Thysanophyllum.The geological time should be the Datangian.The correlation of the rugose coral fauna with that from Beishan area and South China and Europe,and with that from different districts inside the area sugg... |
