| Abstract: | Different types of jurassic and cretaceous submarine breccias, deposited on the internal part of the Briançonnais shoal, and on the external part of the Piemont trough, are described, especially breccias of the Acceglio zone, which show a cement looking like a “sedimentary micaschist”. Genetic problems are discussed: rock breaking and disintegration, and transportation of rock fragments. |
