多分辨率地形模型的研究与实践

摘    要:多分辨率地形模型是大规模地形交互仿真关键技术之一。通过对地形数据简化分层、分块等数据处理建立金字塔数据模型来组织地形数据。利用视景体裁剪,基于分辨率测试的四叉树搜索算法实现了大场景数据的动态管理。其中重点对可见区分辨率进行调整,使渲染的数据块适中。通过将较高分辨率地面块边界的顶点移到相邻较低分辨率块的方法,消除了不同分辨率地形块间的裂缝。

Abstract:Multi-resolution terrain model is one of the key technologies to the interactive simulation of massive terrain. An organizing approach of data based on pyramid model using simplification, leveling and block processing technologies is put forward. The dynamic management of landscape data is achieved with the view frustum culling technology and quadtree searching algorithm based on resolution-testing. By adjusting the resolution of different part of visible region, the number of terrain blocks to be rendered can be controlled to a seemly quantity meeting the need of real time walk-through. The way of crack elimination is by setting the vertex of higher resolution node to the edge of conterminous lower resolution node.
