太阳风能量向赤道电离层的传输

摘    要:从太阳风和地磁参数综合分析出发,将研究太阳风能量输运的范围扩展到了赤道电离层区.同时也对Akasofu的能量耦合函数作了检验.传输到中低纬电离层的太阳风能量约为极光区焦耳加热能耗的1/10.能量耦合的赤道电集流效应(包括电动耦合和动力耦合两部分)是十分明显的.

Abstract:The scope of the study of energy transport of the solar wind is extended to the equatorial ionosphere by a synthetic study of solar wind parameters and geomagnetic indices.The energy coupling function deduced by Akasofu is used and tested in this study.It is shown that the energy consumption rate in the mid-and low-latitude ionosphere by Joule heating is about 1/10 of that dissipated in the auroral region.The effect of the energy coupling including both the electrodynamic and dynamic couplings can be seen clearly in the equatorial electrojet area.
