| Abstract: | Correlations of the single scattering albedo ω0 and the probability of backscattering \(\tilde b_b \) with the beam attenuation coefficient c are presented for a wavelength of 550 nm in waters of cases 1 and 2. Correlations based on more than 70 measurements in different regions of the World Ocean in the range of c from 0.08 to 2.5 m?1 are compared with the data of observations of c and ω0 available in the literature. |
