Abstract:Isotopes of Sr, O have been measured in 17 samples of whole rock of Taupo acidic volcano rock of New Zealand. The result indicates that between the acidic volcano rock sampies',primary 18 O and 87Sr/86Sr data, there is distinet positive interrelation. In fig. 1 18 O-87Sr/86Sr, projection of the samples' position is a line linking the mantle unit which similar as Kaukuki Basalt (KB) and the unit of Waipapa stratum but deviates from Toness stratum. It much like the isotopic composition of Sr, O of Quaternary period acidic volcano rock which disperses over Coromandel penisula, which absenting Torless stratum, in the Northern New Zealand. In view of the above, it holds that Taupo acidic volcano rock mainly is the simple mixture of the two units,the KB similar mantle and the Waipapa stratum,but not the result of AFC.
