Abstract:This paper studies the ecological and spectral (VI-NIR) changes of three kinds ofplants caused by hydrocarbon microseepage through simulating experiment. The liquefiedpetroleum gas is supplied to the roots of three kinds of plants (Rhod omy itus, Seg eTetia andSohima superba ) at regular intervals and quantities. T he chlorophyll contents of plant leavesare reduced after the leaves of plants are poisoned by the hydrocarbon gas. In the spectrumof VI-NIR,the absorption bands of the pigments are mainly located in yellow bands,and theabsorption edge of chlorophyll shows "Blue Shift ". Through comparison, we also find thatthe reflectivity of the poisoned plant leaves is lower than that of the background plant leavesin VI-NIR spectrum. This research makes it possible to explore the oil-gas through biogeochemical remote sensing technology.
