Abstract:Feasibility of the Kostadinov and Yamazaki liquefaction detection method is analyzed,especially for detecting soft sites and liquefied sites.Fifty-two actual seismic records that include thirteen non-liquefied soft sites are chosen.The analysis results show that the success rate of the method to identify non-liquefied medium hard,medium soft and soft sites are 100%,70.6% and 46.2% respectively,and the success rate to identify liquefied sites is 62%.Obviously,the method misjudges soft sites and liquefied sit...
